The Friends of Green Phenix Foundation, a non-profit NGO with ANBI status, announces changes to its board.
Changes to existing board members
Two of its original members, Adric Walter and Ed Berendse, take on a new role as advisors on the advisory commission. This means they remain involved with the Friends of Green Phenix Foundation. The organization expresses deep gratitude for their efforts and time invested in the establishment of the organization.
Earlier this year, Wilma van Lent and Steven Winters joined as prospective board members. Wilma will also continue her involvement as an advisor on the advisory commission in 2024. Steven Winters, with a background in education and management, takes over the role of secretary from Adric Walter. He brings his broad international knowledge to the foundation.
New board member – Leonie van Meel
Leonie van Meel also recently indicated that she would join the board as treasurer, taking over from Ed Berendse. Her role stems from her previous involvement within Green Phenix and her expertise in financial management.
The original board is pleased with these reinforcements. The passion for sustainability and diverse expertise of the new members will play a crucial role in continuing the mission towards a more sustainable Curaçao.
