Green Phenix connects conservation, social inclusion and innovation.
How it started
The idea for Green Phenix came at the end of 2018 and the activities started in 2019 in the backyard of a house. It started with just 12 people in Learn and Work project, and in 3 years it expanded to 24 spots. Apart from the work and learn program, since November 2021, Green Phenix was able to employ 8 former participants. This has been made possible by the support of the TUI Care Foundation & MCB Bank.
The social enterprise won several innovation awards in the 2018 and 2019. In 2019 it also won the International Grassroot conservation award.
We work for a better future
Current estimates state that there will be more plastic in the sea than fish by 2050. Green Phenix works to ensure that this does not become a reality. Future generations should be able to benefit from the resources as we do today.

Circular Economy
At Green Phenix we are aiming to create a circular economy in the use of plastic, to make sure that this resource does not become waste.
Inclusive Economy
As a social enterprise, we focus on creating job opportunities for everyone.
Our Goals
Green Phenix follows several goals and values that help us on our mission to safeguard our oceans.
UN Sustainable Development Goals
We contribute to15 out of 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
